Infeed Material Operator

Infeed Material Operator/Extruder Operator Helper – Hiring Immediately – Bridgeview, IL

Pay range: $21.39 to $22.72 per hour, paid weekly.

Available shifts: 2-2-3 Rotational Shift: Nights 7pm to 7am.

Services flow of material to extruders for processing by performing the following duties.

• Operate and troubleshoot all material blending systems.
• Clean all material system filters, socks and canisters.
• Monitor regrind usage and make adjustments based on departmental goals.
• Maintain material flow to all machines within your area of responsibility.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Identify and properly label all materials put into gaylords for later use.
• Maintain material hoses; replace when necessary.
• Maintain housekeeping of all blender mezzanines, silo room, compressor area and back aisle up to the railroad tracks.
• Clean silo access rooms.
• Write work orders for items in need of repair.
• Communicate with following shift and operators.
• Follow company safety procedures and policies.
• Perform all other assigned duties.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work 30’ off the ground.
• Good communication skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs occasionally as job demands.
• Capable of working standing or walking in a hot environment for 12 hours with appropriate breaks.
