Litho Press Operator

Overview

Nosco is looking for a Lithographic Press Operator at our Bridgeview, IL facility. As an employee owner in this position, you will assist with setup and operation of a multi-color press, complying with customer specifications while maintaining a high level of quality expectations. This position has the ability to grow into other opportunities in the pressroom or other departments.

• Set up and operate press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and setup. Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
• Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing and effectively communicating with downstream operators).
• Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for setup time and run speeds as established by the department leads.

• Preferably 3+ years of lithographic press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
• Experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
• Ability to understand and achieve performance expectations from supervision and communicate back to the crew those requirements.
• Physical requirements:
  
  twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Speaking, hearing and vision are essential to performing job functions.

The typical pay range for this role is $24.00 - $37.00
. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base offer will depend on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
