Concessions Worker prepares and serves concession items to guests, including preparing and pouring beverages. Ensures quality of food presentation, utilizes a cash register, accepts payment, and maintains excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

The role will pay an hourly rate of $17.00-$20.00 and is tip eligible (per CBA).

This position will remain open until September 25, 2026.

• Conduct cash register sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction.
• Build orders, prepare food, and demonstrate knowledge in all areas of concessions operations.
• Maintain stock and supply levels and communicate low stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Listen to and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serve beverages to guests, including responsible service of alcoholic beverages, checking IDs in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must be 21 or over.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry (preferred).
• Previous cash handling experience (preferred).
• Ability to learn to handle cash and operater a cash register and corresponding system.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co‑workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
• Must have or be able to obtain the Illinois Basset Certification to be legally certified to serve alcohol in Illinois.
