Maintainer I s are responsible for all aspects of cleaning and general building maintenance.

Full-time, 12 Month, AFSCME unit position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement.
* Tuesday to Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Sunday and Monday as days off) Location BSU Campus Wide. This is an essential position.
* Initial assignment only. Subject to change according to institutional needs.

1)

• Maintain a welcoming environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Perform detailed custodial maintenance of academic, residential, administrative, research, athletic, dining, and campus facilities.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and showers.
• Sweep walkways, vacuum, shampoo carpets, scrub, wax, and buff floors.
• Polish furniture and woodwork.
• Move and reset furniture in residential and academic buildings.
• Remove trash, including broken furniture and materials.
• Conduct indoor/outdoor maintenance tasks, including snow removal.
• Participate in large-scale cleaning and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support university operations when needed.

• Ability to learn or knowledge of basic computer skills.
  
  Current and valid Drivers License.
