Custodian

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian to join our team. The custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. (Henderson, CO area)

$19.00/hour

Full Time;
Monday 6:00AM- 2:30PM, Tuesday - Friday, 2:00PM - 10:30PM (temp-to-hire)

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and other school areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and furniture as assigned.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and restroom products.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains, tightening fixtures).
• Report repair needs or safety hazards to the Head Custodian or Facilities Manager.
• Secure buildings by locking doors and windows after cleaning.
• Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior custodial or maintenance experience (preferred but not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning practices, safety standards, and equipment operation.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with policy.
