Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN BRIGHTON, CO
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Brighton, Colorado. This individual will be responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems to ensure proper functionality of the operations. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently, strong commitment to safety, and more listed below.
Pay, Schedule, and Location- Starting at $19/hour

- Full time schedule
- Located in Brighton, Colorado
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently
- Complete all necessary paperwork for equipment and tasks
- Housekeeping
- Inspect equipment, structures or material
- Perform general physical activities such as lifting, bending, and climbing
- Handle and move objects
- Repair and maintain mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot and problem solve
- Promote a safe work environment through personal actions and identify any safety concerns as well as cost‑saving opportunities
- Show a high level of responsibility
- Assist in planning and scheduling routine maintenance; establish work priorities with Manager
- Follow instructions for safely operating equipment
- Maintain a clear, neat, organized work area at all times
- Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, meet deadlines, and work with difficult individuals or task assignments
- Relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions: must get along with co‑workers without exhibiting behavioral extremes; perform work activities requiring reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to criticism from a supervisor.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations

- Must be able to read and understand numbers and labels.
- This position requires associates to follow MHE Operations and Safe Driving practices, Safe Lifting, No Contact Policy, MHE Check out Process, and any other safety rules or policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant certifications and experience
- Must have experience repairing and maintaining equipment, along with troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Building and construction experience preferred
- Must be certified and able to operate an electric pallet jack, forklift, reach truck
- Knowledge of MSDS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to work standing or sitting for long periods of time.
- Must be able to traverse and access all areas of a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to work in a distribution center environment with a variation of temperatures.
