Description:
Maintenance Technician (Temporary) Woodland Village | Brighton, MI Woodland Village is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning community for our residents and staff.
Schedule:
Temporary Position | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
- Maintain and repair community and kitchen equipment
- Complete painting and furniture refinishing projects as needed
- Support floor care activities, including vacuuming, shampooing, disinfecting, and deodorizing
- Calibrate thermostats and perform minor equipment repairs
- Operate, test, and complete preventive maintenance on generators and other facility systems
- Maintain grounds, equipment, and building systems in accordance with safety standards and community procedures
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum six months of maintenance experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care environments is a plus
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
