** We are currently looking for a:
** Lake Compounce - Seasonal Food & Beverage Warehouse Host
** Roles & Responsibilities:
** Warehouse duties include but are not limited to rotating and delivering stock to food locations, ensuring availability of products, and performing various cleaning tasks. Working as a Warehouse Host is the perfect way to gain valuable customer service, forklift operation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
** Roles & Responsibilities:
*** Ensure availability of products while maintaining a clean work area
* Perform all warehouse duties while following all established safety procedures and using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests
* Unload trucks and counts quantities to verify delivered amounts
* Process, receive, rotate and correctly store retail, paper products, food, and food product items within the warehouse (which includes dry storage, frozen and refrigerated areas)
* Deliver orders from the warehouse to the individual retail stands, concessions, catering areas, and other facilities (by pick-up truck/golf cart, van, hand cart and/or by hand)
* Complete orders and responsibilities in a quick and responsive manner
* Ensures ice is delivered to designated locations before park opening and throughout the day as needed
* Monitor stock levels of the warehouse and communicate any shortages in orders and inventory to the management team
* Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
* Conduct product inventories on a routine basis
* Complete and update daily inventory logs
* Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor
* Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and warehouse equipment
* Assist at other F&B locations or with catering events, as needed
* All other duties assigned by leadership

* Education and Experience:

*** High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
* 1+ years previous warehouse experience a plus but not required
** Language:
** Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English;
Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
** Requirements:
*** Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Connecticut Child Labor Laws
* Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to work until later hours of the evening, from open to close
* Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
* Ability to comply with all uniform policies
* Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
* Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
