Join our team at Oxford Crossings
as a Maintenance Assistant.

Full-time: 8am - 4:30pm opportunity available!

$21 - $23 and hour (depending on experience, all inclusive)

, the Maintenance Assistant plays a key role in ensuring our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities for Maintenance Assistant:
  • Complete daily physical rounds throughout the facility to identify and address maintenance needs and safety concerns.
  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs to facility systems and equipment.
  • Review maintenance request logs regularly and complete work orders accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with staff to support improvements in resident living spaces and overall facility environment.
  • Assist with furniture moves, equipment repairs, and general maintenance projects as assigned.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly and efficiently to support resident safety and comfort.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications for Maintenance Assistant:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) or more years of general maintenance experience required (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades).
  • Skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
