Custodian, 3rd Shift, Facilities Management Responsibilities Cleaning Services
- Clean and service restrooms, smoking urns, and ash trays.
- Mop, sweep, scrub floors and other surfaces; maintain and renew floor surface finishes; vacuum and shampoo rugs.
- Dust and wax furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim and related furnishings.
- Wash windows, glass doors, and interior glasses including partitions, frames, pictures, etc.
- Collect debris in and around buildings and place in containers.
- Collect debris from all building receptors and place in outside containers for removal by truck.
- Sweep or shovel snow from steps, walks at building entrances and connecting walks.
- Lock and unlock doors to classrooms, lecture rooms, offices, etc.
- Move furniture, supplies, and miscellaneous equipment as directed.
- Paint as directed and required.
- Report all items that require repair.
- Attend all mandatory safety classes.
- Full‑time (40‑hour) Facilities Management Union position.
- $500 signing bonus after a 4‑month probationary period.
