Construction Accountant

We are partnering with a well-established commercial subcontractor to find a detail-oriented Construction Accountant to join their team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities with ease, and take pride in keeping complex projects financially on track - we want to hear from you.

• $68,000-$75,000

Responsibilities:

• Prepare AIA pay requests and manage accounts receivable invoicing, including waivers, sworn statements, and tracking supplier and subcontractor backup documentation
• Process all contract projects, including AIA contracts and change orders
• Enter and maintain accurate job costing across all active projects
• Handle permit procurement and processing for all contract work
• Manage warranty procurement and processing
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and purchasing
• Solid background in general accounting and familiarity with accounting software
• Experience working with construction documents and OSI programs
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
• A proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a project-driven environment
