Clarifis Staffing Solutions is working with an Illinois elementary school to fill two full-time Special Education Teacher positions for the upcoming school year. We're looking for compassionate educators who are committed to helping students with diverse learning needs reach meaningful milestones in both the classroom and beyond.

Available placements include:

• Self-Contained Classroom – 1st & 2nd Grade
• Self-Contained Classroom – 3rd through 5th Grade

These classrooms primarily serve students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), making this an excellent opportunity for educators who have experience supporting students with autism and enjoy creating structured, engaging learning environments that promote growth and independence.

What you'll do:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction that meets each student's unique academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor student progress, adapt instructional strategies, and maintain accurate educational documentation.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, general education staff, and families to ensure students receive comprehensive support throughout the school day.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement.
• Previous experience working with elementary students in self-contained special education classrooms is preferred, particularly with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
