CCA, Zagime Care Home, Broadview

Zagime Care Home in Broadview is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) to join our team. In this role, you will support residents with daily living activities, recreational programs, medication assistance, meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry services. We’re looking for someone with strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.

• Helping in Activities of Daily Living for the residents.
• Assisting with Recreational Activities.
• Providing Residents with Medication Assistance.
• Meal Management, Food Preparation, and the serving of meals, as well as the cleaning and sanitizing of the kitchen after each meal.
• Performing Laundry Services.
• Completing regular housekeeping duties, such as sweeping and washing floors, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning residents’ rooms.
• Maintaining and following all necessary documentation and compliances in the Care home.

• Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated flexibility to facilitate changes in techniques and procedures.
• Ability to display independent judgment and follow required procedures.
• Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
• Ability to respect and promote confidentiality.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis.
• Ability to do 12 hrs. shiftwork.
• Ability to handle residents with utmost care and respect is a must.
• Ownership, Punctuality and discipline is required to sustain in this position.
• Maturity to handle and deal with difficult situations and individuals.

• Food safe Courses, CPR/First Aid, and Medication Assistance are mandatory or need to be completed in 90 days of joining; however, training is sponsored by the Zagime Care home.
• CCA Certification is Required or PCW course, PCW course can be sponsored by ZCH needs to be completed within 90 days of joining.
• Satisfactory Criminal Record check.
• Minimum 1 to 3 yrs of experience in Elder Care Home or Assisted Living
