Principal Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Conventional Stamping Operator for the 1st shift to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fine‑blanking, conventional stamping, and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.

The stamping operator will set up and operate conventional stamping equipment and systems, report required data, and maintain production schedules.

• Load and unload parts on machinery and maintain and/or clean equipment according to PMC standards.
• Examine parts to identify defects and variations from blueprints and ensure quality approves the first‑piece inspection for production.
• Operate and adjust equipment to maintain proper work procedures.
• Report accurate production information to supervisor and in the ERP system.
• Maintain and efficiently perform production assignments per the production schedule, while following work instructions.
• Demonstrate ability to read measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Understand necessary tools and instructions to ensure quality of work.

• High school diploma or equivalent education/certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Six months of previous conventional stamping experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
