CNC Set Up and Programmer-2nd Shift

Our client, a growing manufacturing company located in the western suburbs of Chicago, is seeking skilled CNC Machinists (with set-up and programming experience) to join their production team. Pay range: $24-$38/hr depending on experience
Shift/

Hours:

2nd shift - 2:30pm - 11:00pm

• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and program adjustments.
• Modify machine offsets and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
• Read work instructions and ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Inspect materials, finished products, and equipment using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assist with training new team members in machine operation, safety procedures, and company standards.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, and Production departments to improve manufacturing processes.
• Provide machine coverage during operator breaks when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
