Fleet Mechanic

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fleet Mechanic located in Broadview, IL. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, as well as repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles. The role involves ensuring all fleet vehicles and equipment remain operational and meet safety standards. Collaboration with team members and adherence to company and safety protocols are integral to this role.

• Proficiency in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair practices is required.
• Experience in working with Heavy Equipment and the ability to diagnose and repair related issues.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical and technical problems effectively.
• Knowledge of safety standards and the ability to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Ability to work in a hands-on, physical role in an on-site environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
• Certifications in mechanical repair or a related field are a plus.
• Experience in waste management equipment maintenance is an advantage.
