Facility Housekeeper

Position Summary

The Facility Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility. Key duties include cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, restocking supplies, ensuring proper waste disposal, and conducting regular inspections to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Additional tasks may be assigned to support the overall cleanliness and operational efficiency of the facility.

• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
• Handle and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers and staff.
• Highly dependable with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).

• Must be capable of lifting 10-75 lbs.
• Must be able to stoop, turn, bend, reach, push, kneel, and pull.

Salary: $20 per hour
