Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Transmission Technician for a highly respected shop in Broken Arrow, OK. This is a full-time opportunity for an A or strong B level technician who knows transmissions, enjoys transmission work, and wants to be in a shop built for long-term success. This role offers a 4-day work week, 3-day weekends every week, weekly pay, and a clean, climate-controlled shop with modern equipment.

• Perform transmission removal and replacement (R&R) work with accuracy and efficiency
• Diagnose and repair transmission-related concerns on customer vehicles
• Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVI) and document findings clearly
• Identify related drivability or performance issues tied to transmission systems
• Work closely with teammates to keep repairs moving efficiently through the shop
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
• Follow shop processes, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Deliver high-quality workmanship that supports long-term customer trust

5+ years of automotive technician experience;
Strong hands-on transmission experience required

• A-Level Technician or strong B-Level Technician background preferred
• Dealership experience or heavy line experience is a plus
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability related to transmission systems
• Experience performing DVI inspections preferred
• Dependable, accountable, and able to produce consistent quality work
• Team-oriented attitude with a professional approach to the job
• Valid driver’s license
