Cleaning Staff
The Bronx District Attorney's Office is seeking a well-qualified staff whose diverse backgrounds reflect an ability to serve the 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community and pursue a safer Bronx through fair justice. The Bronx County District Attorney's Office currently has openings for Cleaning Staff who will be responsible for cleaning in District Attorney Buildings.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleaning bathrooms, wiping down glass windows, mopping floors. Sweeping and vacuuming floors when assigned. Emptying garbage throughout cubicle areas and also hallways and various other areas. Cleaning Kitchen/Conference Room areas. Assist with other tasks in the Operations Unit as assigned. PREFERRED
SKILLS:
High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift up 35 Lbs. Highly motivated, self-starter Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate in a welcoming and professional manner. Excellent customer service skills.
There are no formal education or experience requirements for this position. However, the ability to understand and carry out simple instructions is required. Candidates must be able to understand and be understood in English.
