Surfpoint Recovery is looking for a Maintenance subject matter expert as we grow and expand. Surfpoint Recovery is a cutting edge substance-use-disorder (SUD) treatment center that has partnered with Daily Pay for same day access to funds! Surfpoint Recovery offers inpatient detox, withdrawal, and stabilization services, as well as inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorder.

The General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.

Per Diem - Open Schedule

Responsibilities:

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate with the Director of Operations and other management staff, any issues related to client and staff safety.
• Complete and adjust daily assignments in accordance with staff skills and governing standards.
• Adjust time management to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor subject to facility needs.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years prior experience
• Must have knowledge of routine power tools and cleaning equipment.
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
• Possess knowledge of workplace safety procedures
• Proactive, energetic, efficient
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
