Mount Sinai - 3201 Kings Highway - Responsibilities:
Cleans, maintains and supplies assigned patient and non-patient areas according to department procedures using cleaning equipment and chemicals;
Operates cleaning machinery safely including battery operated floor care equipment;
Prepares cleaning solutions and restocks housekeeping supplies;
Cleans bathrooms, patient rooms, corridors, and public areas; dusts and disinfects surfaces;
Disposes of trash, handles medical waste and recycling per protocol; performs linen distribution as needed
