We need a fulltime member for our Service Team. Someone who is a team player, enjoys challenges and passionate about their work.

The Service Technician, reporting to the Service Manager, will work alongside both Western and Eastern Hemisphere Service team to secure and grow service revenue for McCoy Global. This position will serve as the customer contact on specific technical and service-related problems.

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years related industry experience preferred
• Previous technical or specialized training on Casing Running Tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge in mechanics and electronics
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Must have a valid driver’s license and passport to travel to field locations and internationally.

• Travel to Local and International customer sites for any installing, assembling, servicing, repairing, or tear down of company equipment and calibration jobs.
• Travel to rig site for operation and training of client’s technicians to operate and maintain McCoy oilfield products, namely Casing Running Tools, Smart Hub, FMS, Power tongs etc.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electronic systems
• Interacting with customers and ensuring that their concerns are appropriately addressed in a professional and courteous manner
• Diagnose and resolve product performance problems on-site
• Escalate serious or multi-vendor issues when necessary
• Perform calibrations on most systems while recording and maintaining all calibration and service records
• Conduct pre-job Risk Assessments on all locations before carrying out any work.
• Coordinate work scopes and arrange travel to customer sites.
• Conduct product training to customers and ensure they are properly educated on all McCoy product
• Sell McCoy Global products while on customer sites
