Property Maintenance Technician (Two Nearby Communities!)

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to support two beautiful apartment communities:
Woodale Crossing in Brown Deer, WI
—a brand-new property that opened in Summer 2025—and Westport Meadows in Port Washington
, WI a well-established and welcoming community. The properties are just a short, scenic 20-minute drive apart, giving you the perfect mix of fresh energy and steady routine.

What You’ll Do

No two days are the same, and that’s part of the fun. You’ll:

  • Handle general maintenance requests (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and more)
  • Prepare apartments for new residents with quality and attention to detail
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
  • Help maintain clean, safe, and attractive grounds and common areas
  • Partner with property management to keep operations running smoothly

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous maintenance experience (apartment, residential, or similar preferred)
  • Working knowledge of general repairs (HVAC certification is a plus, but not required)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation (for travel between properties)
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
  • Ability to be on-call for emergency maintenance as needed

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor all interior and exterior for maintenance issues. Perform inspections of all apartments, buildings, and common areas.
  • Maintain and keep all tools and equipment in acceptable working conditions and work area neat and clean.
  • Electrical: replace or fix outlets, light switches, fixtures, and breakers.
  • Plumbing: replace or fix faucets, re-piping, toilets, sinks, and unclogging drains.
  • Heating and Cooling: general heating repairs and cleaning filters, compressors, and condenser coils.
  • Groundskeeping, including but not limited to:
    Picking up trash and keeping the building clean and presentable both inside and out. Shoveling and salting sidewalks and entry ways in winter, and lawn care and landscaping as needed.
  • General carpentry and drywall repairs as needed.
  • Assist with any cleaning and janitorial requests as needed.
  • Paint units and general common areas as needed.
  • Repair and replace windows and screens as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace appliances.
  • Maintain an accurate log of trash pick
    -ups and snow removal to ensure timeliness and billing is correct.
