DC Maintenance Specialist II

Job Overview

Mid‑level maintenance position responsible for the upkeep, repair and maintenance of facilities, grounds, and equipment at the distribution center.

• Repair miscellaneous distribution center equipment such as forklifts, battery maintenance, power jacks, hand jacks, corporate vehicles, and maintain detailed repair history logs.
• Perform electrical tasks including data and voice cabling, plumbing, carpentry, and fabrication duties as required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot conveyor system problems and conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain the distribution center, office buildings and grounds: snow removal, spreading salt, mowing, trimming trees, picking up trash, etc.
• Assist with moves, taking apart and setting up new cubicles, office furniture, and equipment.
• Perform preventive battery maintenance and keep detailed records for quarterly audits.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all HVAC units, including monthly filter maintenance.
• Provide after‑hour assistance during emergencies or inclement weather, acting as a first responder to assess snow removal needs.
• Maintain safety standards, identifying unsafe practices and situations.
• All other duties as assigned.

• At least 2+ years of experience in a similar maintenance position.
• Strong electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fabrication skills.
• Desired skills: electrical work, welding, metal fabrication, and/or machine maintenance experience.
• Technical or vocational education.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
