Custodian
Custodian at Bucyrus Elementary School (M-F 3:30-Midnight
* * Summer hours may differ)
Reports to:
Brian Mitchell, Maintenance Coordinator
Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
- FBI / BCI Criminal Background Check
- Meet all mandated health requirements
- Complies with drug-free workplace rules & all board policies
- Keeps current with technology & other workplace innovations
- Custodial and/or building maintenance experience
- Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing & carpentry skills
- Ability to interpret & apply blueprint & schematic diagram information
- Knowledgeable about building codes, accessibility guidelines, safety regulations, & environmental laws
- Knowledge of micro-electronic & other HVAC control systems
- Available to respond to building &/or service emergencies
- Ability to work both inside & outside of buildings & able to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Salary: $ 18.47 - $27.25 per hour commensurate with experience
Hours:
8 hours per day, 260 days per year
