Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely phone support.
• Setup, install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Komax machines in-house or at customer sites.
• Complete and provide all necessary documentation to customer, sales, and service supervisor and attach it to CRM for in‑house work or work at customer sites in a timely manner.
• Maintain customer and unit history on CRM database.
• Input interactions with customers, sales, etc. must be entered into the CRM database in a format that is clear and concise.
• Maintain a neat and organized environment at a desk, in‑house work areas, and at customer sites.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments or personnel when the use of their equipment is needed.

• Perform at a high level on the Komax objectives program.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as stated in the quality system documentation manual, the safety manual, and the employee handbook.
• Relocation is not provided.

• Certificate in electronics or related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with skills in training, installing, and repairing various models of industrial micro‑processor‑controlled equipment.

• MS Office
• General personal computer knowledge, ERP experience
• Must be able to read and comprehend electrical schematics and drawings
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Demonstrate high level of attention to detail when inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing units to ensure the work is accurate and complete
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing, sitting, stooping, bending
• Frequent travel – 50–75% (most travel consists of overnight stays)
