Buffalo Hearing & Speech is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Custodian to join our team. This role requires daily travel, beginning at our Amherst clinic and continuing to our North Street location in Buffalo. The hours for this position are full-time, 7 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. The Custodian plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center.

Essential Functions:

• Clean, Vacuum, and maintain appearance on a daily basis for bathrooms, classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, etc, as individually assigned.
• Clean and Vacuum Hearing Booths and Audiology Treatment rooms
• Empty all garbage daily
• Refill necessary items such as soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
• Refill water coolers
• Wipe down classroom/clinical equipment in necessary rooms such as the PT/OT room, library, playground, classrooms, evaluation rooms, etc.
• Complete recycling tasks daily. Cardboard, paper, etc.
• Ensure all end of the day items are completed, such as turning off televisions, coffee pot burners and lights. Alarm must be activated upon exit.
• Assist with necessary maintenance of grounds and buildings as needed.
• All other duties as requested by your supervisor.

Minimum Degree

Required:

High School Diploma/ GED

Physical Requirements :

• Physical actions may include, but are not limited to; bending, kneeling, standing, squatting, reaching, printing, crawling, and running.
• Vision, speech, tactical and hearing senses adequate to perform job requirements.
