Janitor, Residential Custodial Services

Duties

• Clean and service buildings by sweeping and mopping offices, halls, stairways, and other units
• Wax and buff floors
• Gather and dispose of refuse
• Service lavatories and fixtures
• Clean lighting fixtures, replace light bulbs, and wash windows
• Move furniture and equipment as applicable
• Assist with sweeping walks, shoveling snow
• Supervise the work of other staff as applicable; provide day to day assignments
• Respond to requests and the emergency need for janitorial services

Campus Living invites applications for our Janitor position. In this role, you will perform cleaning and general janitorial services in Campus Living's residential and institutional facilities. Your duties will include:

Campus Living is comprised of 13 residence halls and five apartment complexes accommodating 8,000 residents on the North and South Campuses. Approximately 5,800 students reside in the residence halls and 2,200 students reside in the apartment complexes.
