Maintenance Painter

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Painter to maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-kept environment within our nursing home facility. This role involves painting resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and other interior and exterior spaces as needed. The Painter will prepare surfaces, repair minor wall damages, apply paint and finishes safely, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces, including patching, sanding, and priming.

• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all facility safety protocols.

• Communicate with staff to schedule work around resident needs with minimal disruption.

• Inspect painted areas to ensure durability and high-quality results.

• Perform touch-ups and routine maintenance painting as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous painting experience preferred, especially in healthcare or residential settings.

• Knowledge of painting tools, materials, and safety procedures.

• Ability to work independently, follow guidelines, and interact respectfully with residents and staff.
