Hampton Inn Buffalo‑Airport/Galleria Mall – Maintenance Assistant
We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team!
The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for the upkeep of the hotel property and will assist the Chief Engineer.
Responsibilities- Perform basic repair work, painting, wall covering, plumbing, electrical tasks, and assistance with pool operations.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, track tasks in log books as required by BLA and hotel brand.
- Maintain and service pool and spa areas, including testing and recording per state and local regulations.
- Clean internal building areas—sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal; keep public, storage areas, and parking lot clean.
Typical shifts: any day of the week, including weekends.
Pay$18.50–$19.50 per hour.
Qualifications– At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a hotel or related field.
– HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and general maintenance skills.
– Ability to bend, kneel, lift, push, carry, and pull up to 75 lbs; reach overhead, climb, crouch, twist.
– Valid driver’s license.
