Position:
Facilities Custodian

Pay: $19.17/hr.

Location:

Amherst, NY

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm, 37.5 hrs./week, some flexibility required
* potential early start for snow response. One Saturday or Sunday per month required for approx. 2 hours*

The Facilities Custodian is responsible for the general cleaning, upkeep, and basic maintenance of assigned agency locations. Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of classrooms and other areas of the agencies property Load and unload school materials and office supplies Assist in the moving of office and institutional furniture and equipment Maintain building security Stock paper supplies Maintain school equipment Responsible for grounds maintenance tasks Assist Facilities Maintenance Technicians in any required tasks Must have flexible schedule to accommodate any needs and shifts in agency operating hours and be able to fill-in when other staff members are absent

At least 6 months of previous cleaning experience Ability to accommodate potential early start for snow response Availability approximately one Saturday or Sunday a month for about two hour

A valid New York State Driver's License and agency approval of driving record according to agency's Policy and Procedures.
