Duties Description Cleaners perform a variety of tasks involving medium to heavy physical effort associated with the cleaning and caring for assigned areas and ensuring a safe, clean, and hygienic environment is maintained. Primarily assigned to patient care areas, Cleaners wash walls, bathrooms, dining rooms, floors, corridors, stairs, and stairwells; clean spilled bodily fluids and collect and transport waste within specific guidelines associated with infection control and safety;

clean and polish furniture; and move furniture in preparation for cleaning. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

Minimum Qualifications There are no education or experience requirements. Applicants must be physically able to perform the task of the position, and able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.
