Environmental Service Attendant

Our client, a healthcare facility in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Service Attendant to join their team. As an Environmental Service Attendant, you will be an essential part of the Environmental Services Department supporting the cleanliness and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Environmental Service Attendant

Location: Buffalo, NY

Pay Range: $16

Shift:
Part-Time Day

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Part-Time Overnight: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Full-Time Overnight: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, common areas, offices, hallways, and restrooms
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas to maintain cleanliness
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners to ensure sanitary conditions
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and equipment to prevent infection spread
• Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizing materials to ensure availability

What's Needed?

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services experience highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift
• Dependability and punctuality are essential
