Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic, Facility Maintenance

We're hiring a Maintenance Lead for a growing industrial manufacturing company in Buffalo, NY
.

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for someone with strong hands-on industrial maintenance experience who can also lead a maintenance team and drive preventive maintenance across production equipment and facility systems.

• Supervise, train and schedule maintenance personnel
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Work with motors, conveyors, PLCs, relay logic and industrial equipment
• Support maintenance of HVAC, chillers, plumbing and other facility systems
• Ensure safe work practices, including OSHA, PPE and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Manage spare parts, inventory, vendors and external contractors
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders and repair/cost tracking
• Help minimize equipment downtime and improve overall plant reliability

• 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
• 1-2+ years of maintenance/team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience with preventive maintenance and CMMS/work-order systems
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements and LOTO procedures
• High school diploma/GED required; technical/vocational training or associate degree preferred
