The Maintenance Employee is responsible for safely, efficiently, and accurately scheduling and performing repairs and preventative maintenance on warehouse and transportation equipment as requested.
Primary Job
Duties Include:
- Always follow all the rules of safe conduct,
- Analyze / troubleshoot / repair / replace equipment such as: valves, pipes, pumps, motors, compressors, hoses, circuits, PLC's, agitators, powered industrial equipment, and generators,
- Identify all tools required for a task,
- Complete scheduled work orders and documents on time,
- Maintain appropriate records of repair / replacement / maintenance,
- Facilitate contractor activities as appropriate,
- Maintain appropriate replacement part inventory,
- Order required equipment / parts as appropriate,
- Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and process systems to locate leaks, corrosion, or other defects so that they can be appropriately repaired,
- Participate in limited spill response.

- Specific Job Procedures from S&H 18.1 that may be included as part of an employee's job duties.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
All employees of PVS are expected to work safely, follow all procedures, and wear the proper PPE at all times on the job. PPE has been determined by the Safety Data Sheets, manufacturer recommendations, workplace hazard analysis and from personal exposure monitoring data. This PPE is provided by PVS and includes:
- Steel-toe work shoes,
- Safety glasses,
- Sleeved shirts,
- High visibility clothing.
Additional PPE may be required based on the task or operation being performed. Refer to PVS's full PPE policy for specific requirements.

Pay Rate:
Dependent on experience; $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
