Maintenance Lead, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance

We’re currently working with a long-established Western New York manufacturer that’s looking to add a Maintenance Lead to their team.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, keeping equipment running, and playing an important part in maintaining production uptime. The right person will be comfortable troubleshooting industrial equipment, handling preventative maintenance, and supporting the overall upkeep of a busy manufacturing facility.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery involving mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain and repair production equipment to minimize downtime and support efficient operations
• Machine replacement parts when needed using manual or CNC equipment (lathe, mill, etc.)
• Assist with equipment layout changes and modifications (light CAD experience is a plus)
• Support basic PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Perform welding repairs and light fabrication as needed
• Maintain building systems and overall facility condition, including grounds upkeep
• Handle basic plumbing and electrical repairs as needed
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized maintenance or facility projects
• Respond quickly to maintenance issues impacting production

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment
• Strong hands‑on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Welding experience preferred
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge is a plus
• Experience machining parts (lathe, CNC, etc.) is helpful
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
