Engineering Supervisor

Position Summary

Engineering Supervisor (Preventative Maintenance) at Spire Hospitality – responsible for maintaining full operational functionality within the hotel, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring guest service excellence.

• Lead by example in assisting guests with room calls and troubleshooting concerns.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program for guest rooms and operational equipment, including pools and kitchen equipment.
• Support the department head and provide guidance to engineers.
• Create a team environment with other departments:
  Front Office, Security, Sales, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage.
• Work safely, use proper PPE, and comply with all safety regulations (city, state, OSHA).
• Perform general repair and maintenance of all equipment in and around the hotel.

Lift, push, pull, or rotate 50 lbs or more; stand and walk up to a full 8 hours a day.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a hotel or customer service capacity.
• Mathematical knowledge of building and construction.
• Comfort working on a computer with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience working on HVAC, plumbing, construction, and machinery.
• Full-time position with flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
