Maintenance Engineer; SEASONAL

This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a team.

• Deliver exceptional service with warmth and attentiveness to our guests
• Maintain and repair all equipment.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance as determined by the Supervisor or as needed, using service work check lists, preventative maintenance, mechanic challenges, operation testing.
• Perform all preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled, e.g., service work, grinding, adjustments.
• Perform walk around inspections on equipment through checking equipment for condition and parts to be repaired or replaced.

• Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more.
• Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day.

Education:

• High school diploma or its equivalent.

Experience:

• Must have minimum of five-year hands‑on experience working on electrical, painting, plumbing, kitchen equipment, laundry and HVAC‑R repairs.
• Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain any required licenses, certificates or permits required for the performance of duties listed above.
