School Psychologist in Burbank, IL

This full-time, contract opportunity provides a dynamic work environment, collaborating across multiple buildings in the area. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by conducting approximately 40 evaluations annually, working closely with teams to facilitate student growth and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience working with K-12 populations
• Strong assessment, report-writing, and presentation skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to organize and complete multiple assignments across different locations
• Familiarity with special education evaluation processes and eligibility determination is highly desirable

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students across various school sites
• Leading and participating in domain meetings to gather information and set evaluation parameters
• Administering standardized tests and tools to assess cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional functioning
• Preparing detailed reports and presenting results at multidisciplinary team meetings
• Playing a key role in eligibility determination for special education services
• Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to provide insights and recommendations
• Maintaining accurate documentation according to district and legal guidelines
