Description:
Special Education Teacher
- Alternative School (High School - Math)
Job Summary:
Working with students with Social Emotional Disabilities in a supportive, structured, therapeutic setting. Responsible for:
Developing and implementing daily plans in all Math content areas. Provide both individual and small group lessons, provide education support, modify curriculum, attend I.E.P. meetings, implement behavior management plan and interact with parents.
Qualifications:
Must hold a registered, valid Illinois LBS 1 / Professional Educators License. Endorsement / approval in US History and Social Emotional Disability preferred, Specific Learning Disability preferred.
