Description:
CD Classroom Teacher
Job Summary:Teacher will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide educational programming to students with moderate to severe speech/language impairment as well as autism spectrum disorder. Students may also have physical and/or significant health impairments. Duties may include development and implementation of IEP goals, data collection, behavior management (including physical restraint), positioning, feeding, lifting/transferring, and equipment maintenance. Communication with families and other team members is essential.
Use of assistive technology and computers also required.
Valid and Registered Illinois Professional Educator License LBS I.
Working Conditions:AERO Therapeutic Center.
