APE teachers provide fitness and health instruction to children from the ages of three to 22 with a variety of disabilities. This individual will need to adapt curriculum, participate on a multi‑disciplinary team, and evaluate and develop programming for children whose disabilities range from mild to profound.
Qualifications- Valid and registered Illinois PEL with a degree in physical education.
- At least one course in adapted P.E.
- Experience with special needs students preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Will follow the work hours of AERO Therapeutic Center.
