Paraprofessional/ instructional Assistant – STAR, PRIDE, FALP, CD, and Multi‑Needs Programs

Will participate in implementing daily lessons and IEP goals/objectives. Position requires assistance with life skills and behavior management (including physical management), working with assistive technology, and equipment management. This position requires working collaboratively with a team to assist and supervise students on academic and non‑academic tasks. Position will involve working with students with moderate to severe disabilities including cognitive impairment and autism.

Educator License with Stipulations / Paraprofessional letter from ISBE OR Substitute Teacher License (STS or Full)

• Minimal Starting Salary for 26/27 SY – $28,315;
  Starting Salary equates a minimum of $22.47 an hour worked (Increased Salary for possession of Associate’s Degree/60 Credit Hours OR Substitute Teaching License)
• Daily Rate for Part‑Time Staff (2 or 3 days) – $157.31 a day
• + $75 per day for Paraprofessionals when they Substitute for an absent teacher
• Call in Substitute Teachers – $110 / $125 (for more than 10 days worked)
