Step into a meaningful contract role serving elementary students near Burbank, IL, as a School Psychologist. This full-time, on-site opportunity (with potential for a hybrid arrangement) is available for immediate start and runs through June 1st. You’ll work across two local elementary schools, supporting a manageable caseload of approximately 30-35 students. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45am to 2:50pm, including a 45-minute, unpaid lunch.

In this position, your expertise will directly impact students’ academic and social success. You’ll provide essential psychological evaluations, facilitate important domain meetings, and play a key part in your schools’ Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Your ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families will help create positive outcomes for every student you serve.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
  • Current state certification or license as a School Psychologist (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience working in elementary school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and psycho educational assessment tools
  • Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving
  • Ability to handle a split school schedule and prioritize tasks for a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Lead domain meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
  • Support implementation and progress monitoring of MTSS interventions
  • Consult with educators and families regarding students’ academic and behavioral needs
  • Maintain organized records and adhere to all applicable guidelines
