Custodian/Bus Driver

Position: 2nd shift Custodian/Bus Driver Full time

Reports to:

Director of Buildings & Grounds and Director of Transportation & Operations

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to stoop, climb, kneel, squat, and/or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to move, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must have valid Driver's License for the past three years
• Must be able to pass background check, drug test and physical
• Class B CDL for 1 year (preferred)

Job Description:

• Clean and sanitize areas
• Assist with set up of facility for meeting, classroom, events, sports etc.
• Use of ladders when needed in work assignments
• Follow direction when using chemicals and supplies
• Drive school bus to transport students between neighborhoods, schools and school activities
• Comply with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
• Read maps and follow written and verbal directions
• Keep interiors clean and sanitized for passengers

Salary:
Per agreement between Reavis High School District 220 Board of Education and The State and Municipal Teamsters and Chauffeurs Union Local 700
