Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Tech position is responsible for performing a combination of preventive and ongoing maintenance of all RSL facilities and other assets as well as administrative tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Performs routine maintenance on all group homes and office facilities, appliances, and furnishings.
• Monitors and arranges for repairs to group homes and office as required.
• Assists in the performance of routine maintenance checks on all RSL vehicles.
• Helps keep grounds of assigned facilities and office.
• Performs emergency repairs.
• Makes self-available to assist during emergencies.
• Assists with transportation of staff during snowstorms.
• Shares on-call rotation with other maintenance/operations personnel. Performs data entry to update and keep current all maintenance files.
• As requested, schedules appointments with vendors for vehicle and facilities inspections and maintenance as assigned.
• Produces daily work order lists for maintenance personnel, monitors, and follows up to assure that assignments are completed to required standards.
• Uses computer efficiently to accomplish most tasks.
• Types and files records and other data for the maintenance department.
• Assists with maintaining and distributing office supplies and supply requisition system.

The Position Requires:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license of at least 3 years' duration
• Clean criminal background and MVR check
