Position Number:

Full‑Time: 1.0 (40 hours per week, term 12 months per year)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of condensate, steam, and heating systems.
• Assist with installing new equipment and providing emergency services when needed.
• Assist with documentation and document maintenance of EPA required information for specified equipment.
• Access information utilizing appropriate software.
• Promote safety practices in the shop and in the field.
• Operate a university vehicle to transport tools, materials and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):

• High school diploma with related vocational courses or one year of experience including knowledge of condensate, steam, and/or heating systems.
• Experience using computers and mobile technology required.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a driver’s check required.
• Initial employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Special Conditions:

• Probationary period may be required.
• Occasional evening and/or weekend work required (may result in overtime if non‑exempt).
• This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions.
• Background check required for this position.

FLSA Classification: Non‑Exempt
