Compensation Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour

Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.00

As a Mechanical Express Specialist at U‑Haul you will perform a wide variety of repairs to keep the company fleet performing to high standards, using proprietary technology and tools. This fast‑paced role offers opportunities for growth and advancement.

• Repair equipment using appropriate tools to conform to U‑Haul standards.
• Effectively follow work‑order directions.
• Perform work in a timely manner.
• Determine the causes of operating errors and decide what to do about them.
• Clearly identify and professionally express issues in positive or negative situations.
• Participate in ongoing U‑Haul equipment education.
• Assist in additional areas as directed by supervisor.

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes or chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields may be required.

The job requires some physical exertion, such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. (assisted or unassisted).
