Peak Season Repair Specialist

Overview

The Peak Season Repair Specialist serves as a pathway to full‑time employment with Safelite. You will utilize industry‑leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs, champion the Safelite Spirit, and deliver high quality service to customers.

• Learn to repair vehicle glass in classroom and hands‑on training, focusing on the Safelite Way of Fitting.
• Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass related issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation, and customer communication through Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicle during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks in company vehicle and shop.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools, and chemicals utilized throughout the workday.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

• Competitive weekly base up to $21.75/hour.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license and any other licenses required by law to operate a company vehicle.
• On‑the‑job training and completion of Safelite Safe Tech™ certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs and assisting with windshields weighing 26–50 lbs.
• Standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, bending and twisting body.
• Use of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Operating a motor vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and being monitored via camera or video surveillance.
• Professionalism, passion for customer service, and ability to exceed expectations.
• Work outside in varied weather and extreme temperatures.
• Use of chemicals, including flammable chemicals, as required.
• Flexible scheduling to accommodate customer needs.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting independently and collaboratively.
• Read, write, and interpret English and technical directions.
• Oral and written communication via phone and computer.
• Maintain professional appearance following uniform and PPE policies.
• Maintain stable performance under professional or personal pressure.

This position involves driving duties that will be monitored through cameras, GPS, and other tracking technologies to ensure safety and compliance.
