Our client is a luxury fashion brand known for elegant and timeless collections. Their designs have been worn by celebrities and customers around the world.
About the RoleOur ideal candidate has the ability to multi‑task and thrive in a flexible and often-changing work environment. This position is an opportunity to gain insights from top designers on the day‑to‑day business affairs and inner workings of a fashion house. We are looking for Fashion Assistant candidates who can grow with the company and be a valuable addition to the brand.
Responsibilities- Act as the point of contact between the executive and other colleagues
- Manage the designers calendar and set up meetings
- Handle and make calls for designer when needed
- Draft emails/communications for the designer as needed
- Produce reports, enter products and orders into internal software system
- Attend client meetings, take detailed notes, and provide general support to the team
- Assist on photo shoots
- Run personal errands for designers when needed
- Travel with designers
- Assist the design team with overseeing large‑scale design projects through completion
- Request quotes, pricing and samples from vendors
- Create proposals, purchase orders and finalize orders
- Ensure items are shipped/received on time and replace any items that arrive damaged
- Assist in preparing client presentations for meetings
- Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
- Well‑developed organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills / ability to learn new software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional discretion and ability to take direction well
- Ability to quickly learn the fashion business inside and out
- Eager to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and self‑starter
- Excellent skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Suite
- CAD and Photoshop skills
- AIMS
360 is a plus
College degree is preferred and/or relevant experience in the fashion industry.
